I love to chew on things. Just ask my humans. I really like to chew on hands and arms but I don’t get the chance to do that much. So when I realized that my bed wouldn’t protest if I chewed on it, that was all she wrote.
It was so relaxing to chew on my bed while I tried to fall asleep the other night that I got a tad carried away and forgot to stop once I got to the other side. Uh oh.
Ya know how it is when you have a loose thread hanging from the seam of your shirt? And you can’t stop messing with it and the next thing you know you’ve pulled the whole seam out and your shirt is a big pile of material and thread?
Wait. You don’t do that? Hmmm. Maybe I should talk to someone about that. I might have some issues with impulse control.
Well, either way, I need a new bed, and I don’t see anyone rushing out to get me one. What the H? So now I’m sleeping on the floor with nothing between my bones and the hardwood but a thin layer of a fleece blanket. Know how good that feels? Not good at all!
After I ate my bed, my human thought she should get me a new chew toy to “redirect my chewing.” All I know is, I’m happy to chew on anything she wants me to. Heck, even some things she doesn’t want me to. 😉

Know why my face is blurry? Because I get so excited when I chew on Lamb Chop that I can’t keep still. I freak out!
Enter the Lamb Chop chew toy. Cute, right? I know! And it’s soft and it squeaks. Awesome! I was able to gnaw off one of the ears of my Lamb Chop chew toy within 20 minutes. I rule!
Most of my week has revolved around the chewing of the bed. In fact, while we were out walking, the human actually stopped and asked some lady for advice (the lady had a dog, so it wasn’t just a random non-dog human). How embarrassing! We seriously need to have a talk.
My humans had company twice this week (which is roughly twice as much as a typical week) and both times I had to stay in the cage. What the H, man? They gave me some lame excuse about how I was too much of a “spaz” and that I need to “chill out.”
Did you see my trip to the dog park? Fun fun!
You can get your own adorable Lamb Chop chew toy (this is an affiliate link, which means I *could* make a few cents if you click on it and make a purchase, which means you can help keep Frank up to her ears in Lamb Chop chew toys)…
OMG, Frank is so cute! My guy, Grump, is also a huge fan of eviscerating his beds. I shall have to get a Lamb Chop chew toy for him.

Frank and my dogs must be colluding. I have to watch them like hawks to make sure they don’t gut their beds!

My dog eats beds too! He just can’t have one anymore because he tears them up. I know he’d love to eat Lamb Chop toys, too.

I hate the idea of her not having a bed, period. But…it’s expensive to keep replacing them!

My son in law’s dog Lucky used to have a Lamb Chop toy like that. It was Lucky’s favorite toy.
My dog is weird and does not play with toys. My kids would find more enjoyment with Lamb Chop.
Trust me, you’re saving some serious cash right there. I buy a $10 toy and it doesn’t even last a week. It’s so frustrating!
Haha that picture made me laugh. My dog once destroyed his bed in like a day of us buying it! What a cute little toy!

In a day? Good grief! This one lasted three months, so it wasn’t TOO bad. But now I wonder, if I buy another one, will she immediately chew it up, or will she use it like a bed for a while before she starts chewing it? Ahhh, the dilemmas we face when it comes to our dogs!

Ok seriously I just cracked up laughing!! This is exactly why my dog doesn’t have a dog bed in his kennel! He keeps chewing them to pieces! And also why he can’t have chew toys in his kennel, because he rips them apart too! He’s only allowed his chew toys when he is out of the kennel and under supervision. I think we need to get him a dog bed for while he is out of the kennel (most of the day) so he will stop trying to lay on my furniture (a big No No in this house– no pets on furniture). And that lamb is so cute. My pup would adore it! Especially since it squeaks!

Hey Frankie, Looks like you earned yourself a rug for a bed…cuz who the heck is going to buy you another expensive bed after that??? Loving Lamb Chop though.

Who the heck is going to buy her another expensive bed?
This gal, most likely.

Your dog is the cutest. Lamb Chop looks like a fun toy haha.
We have a German Shepard too. Lol she chews up everything too. We have lots of chew toys for her.
Tess, have you had any luck with anything holding up for more than a few days? I get her toys on clearance (and Amazon) because I know they won’t make it past 24 hours (generally). Other than Kong, what the heck works for these chewers?

That is so cute! I love lamb chop. I don’t have any dogs, but I know some that do and I know the dogs would love this!
It’s so cute when big dogs have cute little toys like this. I love that picture of the bed and a guilty face lol.
I know! And let me tell you…it was tough getting her to lie still for the picture. She was practically drooling over all that bed stuffing just piled up, waiting to be chewed on!

The Lamb Chop chew toy is adorable. It would be perfect for my Sisters two dogs. They are both small dogs so i don’t think they will tear it apart.
My friends dog was a chewer. She ate her dog toy once and had to have surgery to remove the pieces. This is a cute Lamb Chop chew toy .

Awe poor puppy. I had a dog that loved to dig in her bed and eat the stuffing. I hope you can find a way to get her out of it. We had to switch the type of dog bed we were using.
I’m trying to figure out if there’s an alternative bed that will be resistant to her chewing (or one that she won’t find appealing!). I don’t want her to sleep on the hard floor!

I had to laugh a little when i saw the bed. I have had the same thing happen to me with my dog a few years ago. She looked so guilty when she got caught.

Man oh man, what is it with pulling the stuffing out of everything? It’s driving me nuts!
Keenly Kristin recently posted..Fridays with Frank: I don’t get it.
Ha ha this made me laugh! Our dog loves to rip the stuffing out of chew toys. It is hilarious to watch!
She pulled out the stuffing today, as a matter of fact. Another toy bites the dust.

This is the song that doesn’t end. It goes on and on my friend. Haha. Love Lamb Chop, too cute to have a chew toy like this. I must get one for Jenny the Pug.
