I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Coffee Maker. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as to thank me for my participation.

Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Maker

Let me tell you how awesome the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Maker is. I’m not sure if I want to invite people over to try it out just to share its awesomeness…or if I want to keep it all to myself because of that awesomeness. Is it wrong that a part of me doesn’t want to share it? OK, OK, it might be. A little.

I know this much: This sweet machine is going to be the center of attention any time we have company over the holidays (heck, anytime, for that matter!). Sure, coffee is swell. Tea is lovely. But the drinks you can make with the Nescafe Dolce Gusto? Please! This baby is going to be gaining friends and influencing people left and right.

The Dolce Gusto Coffee Maker is an awesome machine. It’s different. It’s unique. It’s distinctive. It’s special. The NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto is the only machine that truly delivers delicious, coffee house quality creations every time with patented smart capsule technology delivering up to 15 bars of professional pressure and espresso technology.

I want to tell you exactly how this machine works. And how I created a beverage so delightful that I drank it so quickly that I almost didn’t taste it. Bear with me. Before we get into the mechanics, let me tell you about the actual machine.

Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Maker

The Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine is compact, sleek, and stylish. Right off the bat, the machine got points for that aspect. Before doing anything, you need to rinse the machine by running water through it. Just lift the water reservoir off the back of the coffee maker and fill it up (no higher than the “Max” line, of course) and pop the reservoir back into place. So far, so good.

Now we’re ready to rock. I had four different flavors to choose from —

Dolce Gusto Coffee Maker Coffee Capsule

I had Caramel Latte Macchiato, Skinny Latte Macchiato, Chai Tea Latte, and Chococino.  See the coffee capsule in the bottom left corner? I am pointing to the indicator that shows the appropriate setting for your Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Maker. Don’t get nervous. The setting feature is very user-friendly:

It has a small, rolling dial that you just spin to get your setting where you want it. Easy-peasy. Now, what to make first. Oh, decisions, decisions.

I have a tendency to make things more difficult than they are, so I made an effort to just follow the directions. Easy-peasy.

Look at the first coffee capsule, match the setting, hit the brew button. Remove the first capsule, take a peek at the second, adjust the settings, hit the brew button. Trust me…it’s only as hard as you make it. So, I had this idea…I put one scoop of vanilla ice cream into a mug, and then brewed a Skinny Latte Macchiato over it.

I don’t think there’s a name for this beverage but, yowza. I drank it in no time. It was lip-smacking good. I’m not sure what’s more exciting…the variety of flavors, the range of coffeehouse-quality beverages I can make (not to mention what I can create with a little imagination!), and the savings! Oh, the savings. And, the taste! It’s heavenly. Look how easy it is…

You’re probably thinking, “Wait. Four years? How is it that I haven’t heard of this bad boy?” You’re not alone. I didn’t know about this puppy either…but now I do, and now you do. It’s all good. In fact, it’s great. Trust me.

From beginning to end, the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine is an absolute delight. It’s user-friendly — with a very short learning curve, it’s a sophisticated and stylish appliance to add to your arsenal, and it purrs like a kitten. Actually, more like a very contented cat curled up in a comfy ball. I can’t wait until tomorrow, when I can try something else.

Oh, and I need to go to the store to pick up some more flavors…oh, and espresso! Which means I need espresso cups. This is going to be so much fun!

It says there are no places near where I live (WI), maybe something is wrong with there website, no one is able to buy it and people are commenting from all over the US. I prefer to buy online anyway!

Can’t buy them in New Jersey so I’d have to do it on-line. This is a cute little appliance. Never heard of it before I saw the giveaways

I couldn’t get the “Where To Buy” on their site to work for me, keeps telling me to add a zip code and city, although I already did. I have seen these at my local Walmart, so I would buy them there

Looks like I could buy them online but I could also send it to my family in California and they could buy them at Fry’s and Sears.

I’d have to buy it on-line. Even if it were available in brick and mortar stores outside California, I live in a Mississippi swamp 30 miles from the nearest Walmart or McDonald’s. UPS and FedEx know me well.

I can purchase products at the bed Bath and Beyond about 40 miles from me.. However I would probably purchase online..
