My review of iPad All in One for Dummies
I’ve had an iPad 2 for about 18 months. And, I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve never really used it to its fullest. That’s just silly, if you think about it; shouldn’t you really be getting the most out of a “gadget” that costs roughly the same as a laptop? (OK, not a top-of-the-line laptop, but still.) That’s really why this iPad for Dummies guide is such a valuable resource.
This edition of iPad All in One for Dummies really packs a punch…it covers all three generations of the iPad and is updated for iOS 6 software! In fact, this edition is really like six books in one, as it includes iPad Basics (I can admit that there’s stuff I don’t know), Just for Fun, iPad on the Go, Getting Productive with iWork (iWork? What is iWork? See? That’s why I need this book!), Using iPad to Get Organized, and Must-Have iPad Apps. The iPad All in One for Dummies guide will teach you how to set up VoiceOver and Speak Auto-text. Yep, two more things I didn’t know. Not kidding. (Right about now I’m hanging my head in shame.)
There are 640 pages in this book, which might seem like a lot. OK, it is a lot. However, since iPad All in One for Dummies is really a reference book, you can pick and choose what is helpful to you — and the book is set up in such a user-friendly way that it’s simple to find what you need/want to learn. And, there’s a lot that I need/want to learn when it comes to my iPad. I cannot get over how little I’m truly getting out of my iPad, because I simply don’t know how to use it all of its capabilities. Well, no longer, folks! If there’s one how-to guide you should have when it comes to technology, it’s this one.
Let’s be honest: It really doesn’t make sense to have some of the best technology at your fingertips and just use it to play Words with Friends or Candy Crush or read e-books. You know you do it, too (we really need a support group)…but now we can do a whole lot more, thanks to the iPad All-in-One For Dummies guide.
I was not compensated for writing this post. I received a copy of iPad All in One for Dummies to facilitate my review. This post contains an affiliate link. My opinions are 100% honest and 100% mine.
This would be a great book to get for my mom she had a strok and needs a little help with her ipad
Definitely going to check out this book, like you, I have had mine for a year and really don’t use it to its fullest.
I have an ipad 2 and now I’m thinking I should see what it all can do. I kinda thought I was using it to its potential. But maybe not.
