It never fails: Cute cat videos will always make me smile. I think this one (or three) will definitely bring a smile to your face…

Friskies released cute cat videos of “Will Kitty Play With It?” this month on their Facebook page. Each episode of the game show focuses on one specific item hidden under a cardboard box, which is then revealed to a curious cat. Once the box has been lifted, suspense builds as the item is revealed and described in detail before the big question, and ensuing moment of truth: “Will Kitty Play With It?”

Items featured for “Will Kitty Play With It” consideration include a red plastic cup, a toothpaste cap, and a parking ticket. Fans of the Friskies Facebook page may have opportunities to vote for items to be featured, as well as make predictions about whether the cat will play with the item during the show.

In addition, fans can request their very own home versions of the game –- complete with the cardboard reveal box, string and a few items to get started. Friskies wants to see the fun that cat owners (and their cats, of course!) will create. Fans are encouraged to film the fun and post their very own cute cat videos on the Friskies Facebook page to see if all cats wind up playing with the same items as the cats on the game show. Fans can tag their videos and comments with #willkittyplay and upload to Twitter (and tag @Friskies), or Friskies on Facebook.

Which brings us to the next question: Will kitty play with a plastic ringlet? You know, the ones from the tops of bottles? Personally, I know that mine will — the plastic rings from our 5-gallon water jugs get batted (and hidden) all over the house for days on end. That is, until I can’t take it anymore and have to throw it away. No, I don’t have any cute cat videos of Mortimer being all charming and whatnot because my cat is like that frog in the old Looney Tunes cartoon. She performs like a show cat but the minute a camera is pointed in her direction, forget it. Show’s over.

Lastly, I had to share this heartwarming video, which might be one of my favorite of cute cat videos — and just had to share it with you. It features Anakin, a two-legged cat who has no pelvis or back legs.Watch as he plays and plays…and tugs at your heart strings. What a cutie patootie!
