Mmmm…freshly made donuts from a bakery. What a treat when W surprised me with these treats one morning.
I was surprised that none of them had any holes, because I thought a half-dozen cream-filled donuts was a little much. Then I was informed that only the donut with powdered sugar (back, left) had cream (as you can obviously see). Two glazed, two sugar, and one chocolate. No holes.
Why no holes, you ask?
“The donut maker was too busy.”
Too busy. To put holes. In the donuts.

WHAT??? WHAT??? I just can’t even understand what you are saying??

The person at the bakery told W that “the donut maker was too busy” to make holes in the donuts. That did that for several weeks until people complained enough about having to eat monstrous wads of dough. You’d think, initially, oh, yummy, more donut.
Wrong.
It was laborious to get through the donut. Donuts truly need those holes. Honest.

LOL … SM just opened up a Krispy Kreme in Davao. They have this huge machine rolling glazed doughnuts off an assembly line. Nice big holes. Sorry, it somehow seems immoral to make doughnuts without holes!
