Sometimes (ha!) cats aren’t very cooperative. And when it comes to walking cats on leashes, it’s can be a hit or miss experience. You might have a cat who walks regally on a leash like a dog (and might even behave well while doing so)…but you might have a cat who fights the whole walking on a leash experience, like these cats do.

And please don’t freak out…I can pretty much guarantee that these cats actually enjoy being dragged on cement, as it pretty much massages their whole body at once. I don’t try to walk my cat (I gave up on that endeavor rather quickly) but when I do let her out on my patio, she rolls all over the cement.

I needed such a wonderful laugh. I love cats and I can just remember the one time I tried to walk my cat. I was sure he would go for it since he loved playing fetch with small hair ties like a dog. He was very much like the first kitty that did nothing and acted like he didn’t have a care in the world.

ROFL what I find particularly funny about this was that when I repped for a pet food company years ago, there was a cat that came in with one of the local shelters. A black long haired cat, so one they were having trouble adopting out (though he was beautiful). One of the store employees figured out that he LOVED being walked, and would walk him around the store regularly. Not too much longer after that, he was adopted out! The ONLY cat I’ve EVER seen that liked being on a leash, haha!!

I wish my cat did this…mine struggled and fought and pulled every which way when we tried the leash. Not even worth video-taping. I swear my cat gives me nothing for YouTube. Ugh.

OMG!!!!!! Some of those vids are the funniest! My Mother walks her cat on a leash and she does ok ….. but my kitty is having no parts of it at all…she will attack the leash before I get it even remotely close.
HA! I\’m going to bookmark this so I can force my cat to watch those videos as a little reminder of how good he has it (FOR NOW) whenever he starts to think about throwing up on the stairs or tossing his kitty litter all over the floor.

My aunt put her cat on a leash to go outside in the summer on her deck, so she is used to a leash, BUt when they go out walking, she doesn’t love it so much., I’ve never seen her fall over like that though. Those videos are hysterical.

This was hilarious! It’s so funny because I was trying to convince my other half to get a little kitten last week and we were discussing why people put them on leashes. It looks so strange to me to see people walking their kitties on a leash .. especially when they won’t budge!

Fantastic videos and very recognisable. I try to tempt mine with strings on sticks, which works, but they still hate the harness. In fact I use mine sometimes as a strait jacket, which works beautifully. It also keeps them calm at the vets. My old cat used to love going for walks. Trouble is there are too many unleashed dogs in our neighbourhood.
Hahahaha, that was great! My cat also can be funny but overall I think these are some of the funniest pets in the world, do not you think?
