Brrr. It’s getting awfully cold…and aren’t soups the best comfort food to warm you on those bitter winter days? Well, Nutrisystem soups, perhaps.
Indeed they are. But all soups aren’t created equal. For some reason, people often hear the word “soup” and automatically think that it must be good for you. Or better than the alternatives, anyway. Not so, folks.
Thick, creamy soups might seem like they’re good for the soul…but they sure aren’t good for your waistline:
- Chili’s Loaded Baked Potato Soup: 410 calories and 30 grams of fat per bowl
- Outback Steakhouse Too Right French Onion Soup: 465 calories and 30 grams of fat per bowl
- Panera Bread New England Clam Chowder: A whopping 630 calories and 54 grams of fat per bowl
On the contrary, you can get some satisfying Nutrisystem soups that taste great and are good for you! One of my favorite Nutrisystem soups is the Split Pea…
Here’s the weird thing. I had never even tried Split Pea Soup before…and the idea of it kinda grossed me out. But I love the Nutrisystem version! It’s de-lish. Oh, and it only has 170 calories and 1 gram of fat. I’m also a fan of the Beans and Ham Soup…
Also, coincidentally, another soup I had never even tried prior to trying Nutrisystem soups. But, here I am, loving every bite…and at 150 calories and 2 grams of fat per serving, I’m really loving it!
There are quite a few Nutrisystem soups to choose from on the Nutrisystem menu…there’s definitely something for every taste.
