This is one of the most difficult reviews I’ve had to write.

After all, what could I possibly say that would do Jacob Bromwell justice?

Jacob Bromwell is America’s oldest housewares company — they’ve been around since 1819 — and all of their products are handcrafted in the United States. Those products — such as flour sifters, cheese graters, and popcorn poppers — come with a lifetime guarantee. Let me give you an idea of the wonderful nostalgia (one of my favorite things in the world) you can enjoy, courtesy of Jacob Bromwell.

Jacob Bromwell ColanderThe Coloma Colander is a Jacob Bromwell classic — it has not changed since it was first made! It’s light as a feather and features a signature star design. I love this colander…what a beautiful addition to your kitchen!
"Marshall Rotary Ricer Jacob Bromwell"
With the Marshall Rotary Ricer, you can make authentic mashed potatoes from scratch — you know, the good kind. You can also puree your fruits and vegetables by pressing them (cooked, of course) through the screen with the pestle. The skin and seeds will be left behind, leaving only the puree for your recipe — or your baby! This also comes in handy to make soups, juice, and applesauce, to name a few.

Jacob Bromwell Chestnut Roaster

How charming is the Jacob Bromwell Signature Chestnut Roaster? Can you imagine using this to roast chestnuts at the fireplace during the holidays? Geez, I’m getting all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. Here’s what I got to try out:

Jacob Bromwell Flour Sifter
The All-American Flour Sifter is a wonderful tool to use in your family’s favorite recipes, as it makes your flour fine and smooth. (Interestingly, Jacob Bromwell patented the very first flour sifter in the United States…and this is the same exact model. Say what?!?!) Anywho, we used it to dust some brownies with powdered sugar…

Oh yes, we got a little carried away with the powdered sugar…but it was our first go-round with the Flour Sifter. By the holidays, we’ll have it down pat, I promise you that!

What I love about this Flour Sifter is that it is more than just a kitchen utensil (albeit a very handy and useful one); it is a piece of Americana…a nod to tradition and nostalgia that you’ll absolutely love having in your kitchen. I do!

I encourage you to check out what Jacob Bromwell has to offer — it will be a fun walk down memory lane. While you’re there, you’ll probably want to grab a thing or two (or three) for yourself, as well as the people on your gift list.

I was not compensated for writing this review post. Jacob Bromwell provided a product for review. My opinions are 100% honest and 100% mine.
