I was not compensated for writing this post. Natural House provided natural household cleaners for review. My opinions are 100% honest and 100% mine.

Oddly enough, you probably think that making your house clean means that it is safe, right?

For starters, cleaning your home with harsh chemicals might not be the best thing for your family’s health, or your pet’s. Second, those same harsh chemicals only clean the surfaces in your home temporarily — they do not keep working once you’re done cleaning! Whoa, wait, what?

Yes, let me repeat that. Once you’ve cleaned your countertop, your toilet, your fridge, what-have-you…it’s recontaminated within, well, seconds, basically. The dust, dirt, and micro-organisms that exist in your home are always contaminating. That might come as quite a shock, or a disappointment, or a frightening aspect to the cleanliness of your home. It’s disturbing to me, anyway. So, what now? How can you actually get your house clean?

Natural House cleaning products.

Natural House offers natural household cleaners that get your house clean — as in clean clean, for the long haul. Let me tell you about them.

Natural House Sinky Garbage Disposal Cleaner | Natural Household CleanersThat’s “Sinky,” (need I mention how cute and clever these names are?) Natural House’s product for disposal scrubbing and drain maintenance. You use one pouch weekly; drop into your drain, run hot water for a few seconds to get the foaming started, and then turn on your disposal. Simple? You bet.

It breaks down grease and other food particles to optimize your drain line. Sinky helps prevent clogs and slow drains. It’s also eco-friendly, non-toxic, and biodegradable. Um, can you say, “Awesome?” Oh, wait…it kills bad odors and leaves behind a fresh botanical scent. Are ya kidding? Sold!

Trashy Natural Household CleanersWhich brings us to “Trashy,” the trash can deodorizer and scrubber. Uh, yeah. Who doesn’t need this? No one! (Wait, no one…doesn’t need this…two negatives cancel each other out…that means everyone needs this!) You can use this in inside trash cans, outside trash cans, diaper pails (um, yes, thank you!), recycling containers…basically any container that smells bad! Spray, let air dry, wipe. Boom.

Yet another easy and quick natural household cleaner that solves a stinky problem! LOVE this product. Know how you take the trash bag out of the can — but hold your breath while doing so and/or spray a ridiculous amount of disinfectant in the can to try to kill the germs and disgusting smell? Those days are over, my friend. Over!

On a side note, I have also used Trashy on my cat’s litter box. Trust me, if you have a cat, you will thank me (OK, maybe you’ll thank Natural House but I digress). Trashy is going to be a staple in this household.

Flushy Toilet Bowl Cleaner | Natural Household CleanersLast but not least is “Flushy,” a toilet bowl cleaner and drain and septic treatment. This mint-scented probiotic cleaner is so easy and so awesome, I can’t even begin to tell you. But, you know I’ll try! This handy dandy little pouch breaks down stains, hard water and calcium deposits in your toilet bowl (SOLD!) and…AND…consumes toilet paper and waste build-up in the p-trap, drain, and pipes.

Funny story…the other day, I was getting ready to drop one of these pouches into the toilet and accidentally dropped one INTO THE TOILET as it was still running, and the pouch got sucked right down the drain. So, not sure what to do (and it’s not exactly a moment that warrants a call to Customer Service), I used my fourth…and last…pouch. I was so disappointed to be out of these pouches, I can’t even articulate it. However, I will be replenishing my stock soon, that I can say.

Why are Natural House products so effective? Well, it’s pretty simple, actually. These natural household cleaners are eco-friendly, pro-biotic cleaning solutions that create a beneficial, odor-eating ecosystem that naturally drives out and digests odors at their source. As if that’s not already a slice of heaven, these good probiotics scour, clean, and consume odors, grime, grease, and germs, and they continue to do so for an entire week! Beats those harsh, toxic, hospital-smelling chemicals you’re using now, huh?

I love this quote from their philosophy statement: “My husband likes to say: We won’t sell it if we can’t eat it.” That says it all, doesn’t it?! lol

I currently use Iron Out in my toilet because we have very hard water. It’s harsh and the fumes are really bad, but it works like magic!

Scrubbing Bubbles has to be my favorite. Besides my tub & sinks it works wonders on the outside of my appliances with grease splatters.

Thanks for this amazing giveaway – I would love to win! I use Mrs. Meyer’s products because they smell great but I love the idea of putting something in the disposal and having it automatically work to fight odors! Yay!

I love that their philosophy is “We won’t sell it if we can’t eat it” because my cat is always licking the counters (strange, I know) so it would be great to have a cleaner that is safe for him!

I learned from visiting Natural House’s website, that the owner is the mother to twins, and that she gives her family probiotics daily. This is cool, as I try to drink kefir (fermented milk drink containing probiotics) often.

From their site I learned one in six cellphone in the US may be contaminated by fecal E. coli! EW Gross!
