I have gushed and gushed over Violight and their wonderful UV sanitizers for quite some time now. A few days ago, I wrote about my experience with the Violight Toothbrush sanitizer…as I did last winter. (You can read my first Violight review or my follow-up Violight review, or both.) Here are some highlights:
“[The Toothbrush sanitizer] accommodates up to four toothbrushes and fits neatly on your sink or countertop. Boom. Push the button and the soothing blue glow takes over, sanitizing your toothbrush. Ten minutes and boom! Your toothbrush is clean. Clean clean. And that’s kinda important, since your toothbrush can be homes to up to 10,000,000 bacteria. That’s ten million. Viruses that cause colds, flu, and fever blisters can live for many days on a toothbrush. Ick. There are all kinds of important (and disgusting) facts and figures you can learn at Violight.Oh,and flushing the toilet produces droplets that can harbor bacteria and viruses. Which could settle on surfaces —like your sink and your toothbrush. Egads. I’m gagging here.Violight products work because they use germicidal UV light which is proven to eliminate germs and bacteria. It is the same technology used in hospitals, food prep, and water purification. Now it’s the same technology used to keep you and your family healthier and safer! No-brainer!”
